How the meeting at Munich Airport works

Route and travel time to Salzburg

From the airport the driver heads round Munich and onto the A8 towards Salzburg. The whole trip is about 180 km and usually takes around 2 hours. Holiday weekends and the ski season can add some time on the motorway.

After a flight, many passengers want a short stop: a coffee, something to eat, a pharmacy or a supermarket before checking in to a holiday flat. Ask the driver, or mention it when you book, and we will stop on the way.

Transfer, train, bus or taxi from MUC

Public transport from Munich Airport to Salzburg usually means at least one change, first into the city and then on to Salzburg. With a backpack and no time pressure it can work. After a night flight, with children or with several suitcases, it is a lot of carrying and waiting.
