Cruise days have little room for error. A private car means one driver who waits for you, one known price and no transfers with heavy suitcases. Send us your flight, ship name and pier, and we reply with the price, usually within an hour.

How a cruise transfer works

At the airport the driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign. Waiting is free until you come out, so a delayed flight does not cost you anything. The driver loads the bags and drives you directly to the pier, or to your hotel if you spend a night in town before boarding. On the last day we do the reverse: pickup at the ship and drop-off at the airport, station or hotel.

Danube cruise ports we serve

Most river ships in Vienna moor along the Handelskai, near the Reichsbrücke. The driver brings you to your ship's berth, so check the pier on your cruise documents and send it to us. For flights into Vienna see also our Vienna airport transfer.

Budapest cruise port

Ships in Budapest berth at piers along the Danube embankment in the city centre. Several ships may use the same area, so the exact pier number helps the driver stop in the right place.

Passau cruise port transfer

Passau's cruise piers are in the town centre, close to the old town. Many Danube cruises start or end here, and passengers often arrive via Munich or Vienna airport.

Linz and Bratislava

In Linz we pick up and drop off at the river pier for your ship. In Bratislava the cruise pier is close to the centre, an easy start for a city walk or a ride to the airport.

Transfers between start and end ports

Many cruises start in one city and finish in another. We drive the connection by road, for example:

Passau - Vienna

about 300 km, around 3 hours.

Budapest - Passau

about 540 km, a long drive with breaks on request.

Nuremberg - Prague

about 300 km, around 3 hours.

This also works if you miss the embarkation day and need to catch up with the ship, or want to return to your starting city after the cruise.

Shore excursions, cars and other options

During a port stop you can book a driver for a few hours: the driver waits at the pier, takes you to the sights you choose and brings you back in time. See our private tours for ideas.

Sedans take up to 3 passengers, minivans up to 7, and minibuses suit groups from the same ship. Cruise luggage tends to be generous, so tell us how many suitcases you carry.

Taxis and public transport do reach the piers, but with long cruise luggage and a fixed boarding window, a booked car is the calmer choice. The price is agreed in advance, which a meter cannot promise.
